Description
The ADA is a federal law that prohibits discrimination based on disabilities and provides protections including requiring employers to provide reasonable accommodations in certain situations. The PDA, an amendment to Title VII, is a law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of pregnancy, childbirth and related medical conditions. This 25-minute training provides managers with overviews of the ADA and PDA, an explanation of their rights as employees and their responsibilities as managers, and an understanding of how the ADA and PDA apply to employees and applicants in their workplace.
