This 45-minute course for Canadian employees explains expected behaviors for building a safe, harassment-free workplace. The course is divided into short, schedule-friendly episodes that cover current topics including workplace harassment, harassment based on protected grounds, bystander intervention and violence in the workplace.

The course is also designed to meet specific training requirements in Canada.

After completing this course, the learner will:
• Define terms such as sexual harassment, quid pro quo, hostile work environment, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.
• Identify several characteristics that are protected under the law.
• Recognize the types of behaviors that are inappropriate in the workplace.
• Identify common dynamics at play in situations involving harassment or discrimination.
• Choose the appropriate course of action if inappropriate behavior is observed or experienced.
• Identify behaviors necessary for creating a positive and respectful workplace.
