This 40-minute course helps employees understand what harassment and discrimination are and the impact they have on teams, organizations and people. Using interactive video scenarios and common-sense language, it goes beyond textbook definitions to show employees the personal dynamics that can lead to misconduct, what bystanders can do and should do when they see misconduct, and the why building positive team dynamics is so important.

After completing this course, the learner will:
• Define terms such as sexual harassment, quid pro quo, hostile work environment, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.
• Recognize the types of behaviors that are inappropriate in the workplace.
• Identify common dynamics at play in situations involving harassment or discrimination.
• Choose the appropriate course of action if inappropriate behavior is observed or experienced.
• Identify behaviors necessary for creating a positive and respectful workplace.
